  1. As a Vcoach for AGSB MBA students, Marketing 3.0 reaffirms the need to engage the students in mind, heart and spirit by drawing out their thoughts and aspirations as an integral content of the Marketing Management course using technologies in environments where they thrive (such as Facebook, Twitter, Slidshare and whatever comes next...)

  2. Marketing 3.0 emphasizes to offer the extra mile for your consumer. Gone are the days that we offer a product only, Marketing 3.0 goes beyond the actual tangible product and offer value adding intangible benefits to consumers. The needs of the consumers have changed. Just like my one word descriptor - InSIGHTFuL,information alone is not enough, it should be processed or refined to insights.

  4. Marketing 3.0 further takes me to the importance of what should I look into as a Network Engineer, particularly the "value" of what I am doing in relation to others. It is not always be who is my audience or customers. It is also not always be what I have or what I can offer but it is what is it to them that I am able to contribute as an individual using all the resources available on hand especially the Internet.

  5. Marketing 3.0 puts us in a place where nothing is constant but change.. As I understood the first 5 slides, we always need to LEVEL up in our personal brand in order to market ourselves better. Less of brand maintenance but instead continuous brand building. Invest on things that will elevate your brand like education, experience, networking etc and reach more channels.

  6. Marketing 3.0 is a proof that change is inevitable. It shows to us that we marketing has evolved from focusing on brand or product to focusing on what the value a product/brand has on the community or the world. There's a paradigm shift now, a different outlook of customers as to why they'll buy the product. So for the companies to thrive in this new age they have to have a new approach in creating, promoting and delivering the product or their brand. Companies have to take this into a whole new approach, it has to CHAMPION the hearts of the people, know what they need and desire and the value the product will bring to the customers lives. Social media (like twitter, blogs, Facebook, etc) and technological advancement in communication are now to be taken into a lot of consideration as this has play a vital role in brand promotion and/or marketing (good or bad).

  7. Marketing 3 is re-engineering the paradigm of marketing, a collaboration of business and ethics with the awareness that more and more consumers are now more conscious of the products and brand they buy and support. Marketing 3 substantiate that consumers have the control. Their purchasing power, opinion and beliefs prove to influence others and in a sense manipulate what is in and what is out, what will grow and what will die. Finally, with social marketing rampant, it remains to show that consumers are your brand ambassadors which will eventuate to loyalty.

  8. As a Leader & Manager, the TRIP way is a framework in driving myself and my team to act within our Team's and our own Principles, focusing to work where each of our strengths contribute to the effort (Person), and push the activity to a maximum that is rooted in our personal sense of heart (Passion). The focus on the subject as a basic framework in achieving objectives and creating a personal brand and a team brand in this way is Marketing 3.0.

  11. Marketing caters value innovation. Creating value by focusing on the consumers and exceeding their expectations by not only providing the tangible things that they need but also on the things that they value which is not necessarily seen by the naked eye. Marketing helps companies reinvent their products and portfolios like in the case of the Gokongwei group where they take away the things that are not necessary and just focus on what the consumers really need.

  12. To be able to adapt and cope with the fast changing environment, establish a stronger position and goal in the midst of wider competition, everything should be improved, evolved and innovated. Marketing 3.0 is a paradigm shift, on focus, on strategy, on the overall package of delivering the needs of the customers, incorporating and emphasizing on the values and morals the company believes in. Its taking a notch higher, a leap of advancement in your market.
